I used to lose myself in the oldest parts of the University of Kentucky library, on topics like Nostradamus, nothing to do with my classes.

Plato believed there was a strong connection between learning and happiness. Right now I'm immersing myself into the French culture and am planning on starting to learn some basic French through self-study.

Thank you for this. I’m going into my freshman year of college next year… and I have to take 3 classes with psychology included with it. I’m nervous and worried I won’t have time to really study and enjoy them. I love psychology and that’s why I want to major in it. But I’m also working too:(

Some really great points here! I feel like I am always learning something new, or expanding my knowledge base in topics that are relevant to my work. Can confirm that teaching what you learn to others is perhaps the most powerful way to solidify it in your own mind!
